70 People Attend Bowery Kids Show
I was so happy to see everyone who came to hear me and Christopher (my bass player) at Bowery Kids today. One mother said "I didn't realize you actually existed." To be mistaken for the imaginary friend of a two-year-old is indeed a high honor!

Yes, you heard it here first. The New York Times listing for my March 9 concert referred to "Fire Truck!" as an "anthem."

Two Free Family Shows Planned for June
As part of my ongoing tour of New York Public Library branches, I'll be doing two special family performances. The first, at Seward Park Branch is on the evening of Monday, June 11 at 6:30 pm. Then I'll be at Staten Island's Todt Hill Branch on Saturday, June 16 at 2:30 pm. Visit my schedule for details, and I hope to see you there.

My Birthday is this Friday, May 4th
Even though I've had a number of them, I still enjoy my birthdays. This year I plan to celebrate by going out to dinner. I may also lead the children in my classes that day in singing "Happy Birthday" to me.
