School Visits & Classes
Children who learn to enjoy and celebrate their voices develop
self confidence and a deeper appreciation of music and life.
Visiting schools, whether for a large assembly performance or individual classroom sessions, is one of my favorite things to do. I really enjoy meeting new children and sharing my music with them.
"This year, Ivan was able to play at my school. I cannot even put into words how amazing the show was." - Susan Zibbe, teacher of autistic children

I'd Love to Visit Your School
Since every school is different, I approach each visit as a collaboration. If you're interested in having me perform at your school or center, contact me and we'll talk about what you have in mind.
I live in New York City, where I also teach weekly music classes in neighborhood nursery schools. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I can usually be available any day of the week. I'll travel anywhere in the New York Metro area, and will gladly consider going further depending on time and expense.
In addition, I occasionally have room in my schedule for new music classes. If your school or center is in New York City, please contact me to ask about my weekly or bi-monthly music programs.

My Educational Philosophy
The purpose of my work is to help young children understand the richness and magnitude of their own voices.
I utilize an extensive range of songs and literature that encourage interaction and spontaneity, while fostering important vocalization skills and phonemic awareness.
I make a point of genuinely listening to and responding to each child. Our communication deepens as they perceive that I value their contribution.
Children who learn to enjoy and celebrate their voices develop self confidence and a deeper appreciation of music and life.
